Now What?

They have both perfected this. We moved Miles out of this bed two weeks ago, trying to stretch some time with James. Now what do I do?
  1. wait for him to jump
  2. put them parallel so he maybe fears the distance to the floor more than the distance to his brother
  3. toddler beds
  4. put them bars to bars so they can touch/play and not have need to climb out the end
I'm grasping for straws here. Multiple moms say the day you move to toddler beds, it's over. PARTY EVERY DAY & NIGHT!

I have no idea, but the pics are just adorable! (And a bit frightening in case of fall!)

Oh my! The pics are cute my kids could never do that without their legs getting stuck. I think it's time for toddler beds.

get some of those window well covers and put them on top of their beds after the boys are in 'em!

seriously, what if one boy gets a bath a night ( while the other is going to bed) so they have different bedtimes by about 20 minutes. Hopefully that would give #1 time to get to sleep, while #2 is in a calming bath.

Kelly,
That means I have to bathe them daily. Ummuhh, no.

Dad had some KLASSY "Possible Solutions:
Barbed Wire
Bicycle Helments
Mouth (teeth) Guards
Gymnastic Mats on Floor
Rubber Squeeze guns that shoot ping pong balls
Send them to Louisiana ( my favorite idea! )"

I have never used them personally but a friend who happpened to have twins as well swore by the crib tents- I think they stayed in their cribs until they were 3 that way. You can google it...may extend your sanity a bit???

First of all, the are too cute! Secondly, I am thankful that Gavin hasn't tried to crawl out of his bed yet - I am not ready for that. I would either put their beds together or do the crib tents - you may get more sleep with the tents. I agree that toddler beds would mean an all night party.

put a lining around the bars, something stiff, where they couldn't get their legs threw. Or turn them upside down, kinda like a cage. Or, take one of the girls and put them in there and take one of the boys out and put them in the other room. Let them fall, they'll learn after a few times.- kinda like touching a hot stove, you learn pretty fast.

Holy cow LOL! What a horribly designed bed. I would have never thought about that being an issue with such a cute crib until I saw those pictures. Good Luck!

I agree turn them upside down like a cage. Skips parents had to do this , but that was in the sixtys. Maybe times have changed too much. You can't cage your little ones up anymore...but you could put them together under one and have toddler cage fighting. It could become all the rage and you could raise money for your cause...just an idea:)

Yikes, I'm afraid Lucy is days away from the same situation...can't we just lock them all in a padded room until they are responsible adults?

Shane says "Duck tape." It comes is several colors now. You can match it to your decor. Use on them or furniture.

Good thing he's not in the Primary.
