U day

The letter of the week at preschool is U. We are always in search of something that no one else will bring. Who wants to bring the sixth bear on B day, the second pen on P day? Who wanted to take a killer bear on K day? On U day we racked our 35yrs (my 30, her 5) of experience for the coolest thing...a unicorn....and a

uterus. We talked a little bit about them last night. We now know when you are pregnant your baby is in your uterus not just your tummy, and definitely not your stomach, that's for food. Your urerus is under your belly button. Grace came to the conclusion that she wanted her unicorn to be in her uterus (so she could surprise them). Granted that did not happen, she said she'd tell her teacher she brought her uterus. I thought she'd forget the word but after school she told me she whispered to her teacher that she brought a unicorn and her uterus. She said her teacher thought she was silly and smiled at her. Thankfully Kate picked her up from school (I waited and watched from the van) and I just got a wave.

~Note all three uteruses (?uterui?...whateva')...ahh summer 07

That is the most hilarous U thing ever brought to pre-school. I'm sure her teacher didn't know what to think about that!

I still can't get over how big your belly was and yet how skinny the rest of you still was!

Libby that is hysterical, and you know that Sheila probably thought it was the funniest thing ever. I love taking Grace to school. Carter and Grace make me laugh. She has the most adorable adult personality! I love her. She told me in primary the other day that she loved me too.

That's pretty good. LOVe the unicorn. I don't think I'd have the guts to teach Aleah about a uterus in preschool. Don't ask me WHY! I have no idea, no explanation! Just that a uterus is a big ugly word to me! LOL I can't believe that your tummy got that big but then again you had two nice size twins in there!! By the way, i'm completely jealous. I wanted twins so bad!!
